Frequently Asked Questions About Bike Rentals
You can choose from Enduro, Full-Suspension, Kids’ Enduro, Kids’ Mountain Bike, Full-Suspension E-Bike, and Hardtail E-Bike.
Enduro bikes are suitable for challenging trails and mountain bike descents. Full-suspension bikes are ideal for self-powered tours and easy trails. Kids’ mountain bikes are designed for skill centers and easy trails. E-bike hardtails are suitable for easy paths, wide gravel roads, and leisurely rides.
Yes. A helmet is included with every bike rental.
Helmets, knee pads, and elbow pads are available.
We strongly recommend making a reservation online. After that, you can rent a bike on the spot at the store, provided one is still available. There are no reserve bikes outside of the fleet available online.
Online reservations can be made until 5:30 p.m. the day before.
The price lists show rates for one through eight days, as well as the price for each additional day.
The mandatory basic insurance costs 10% of the regular full rental rate and cannot be opt out of. Discounts do not reduce the insurance amount. The Terms and Conditions remain legally binding.
Coverage includes normal use, damage from falls, and technical defects not caused by the user’s own fault. Not covered are intentional damage, improper use, racing and competitions, and choosing the wrong terrain. In the event of theft or total loss, a deductible of CHF 1,500 applies. The General Terms and Conditions remain legally binding.
At Gisler Sport Arosa, located at Poststrasse 65. Pickup must take place by 11:00 a.m. on the first day of the rental. Please notify us if you will arrive later. Pickup the night before is not possible.

No. We’ll take care of the cleaning. For rentals lasting several days, the bike may be cleaned in between, but not with a high-pressure washer.
If a defect occurs during your rental, please contact Gisler Sport Arosa directly. Our repair shop will assist you and perform any necessary repairs on-site.
We do not offer a pickup or breakdown service while you’re on the road. If you find yourself outside of Arosa during a multi-day rental, we can arrange for repairs at another bike shop after consulting with us.
For multi-day rentals, we ask that you inspect your bike daily. In particular, brake pads and safety-critical parts should be checked regularly so that minor issues can be addressed early on.
Yes. You can choose a charger for free, even with a one-day rental.
No. The bikes cannot be connected to a smartphone.
No. Cordless wrenches are not included.
A configuration with a left rear brake and a right front brake is possible on certain models. Bikes with cables routed through the headset are not suitable for this.
