Testing Snowboards in Arosa
At Bananas by Gisler Sport, you’ll find the largest selection of snowboards and can test out different models. You must sign a test agreement at the participating store. A snowboard costs CHF 58 per test day; testing multiple snowboards costs CHF 100. A multi-day test is available for up to three days and costs CHF 200.

Returns must be made at the location where the vehicle was booked. Please note that location’s hours of operation. A change of location is possible only with prior approval.
Reservation
Select the date range, pickup location, and appropriate category online. Then enter the personal information, review the reservation, and pay online. The website prices apply to online reservations.

4★ snowboards are suitable for beginners and occasional riders. They’re easy to control and help you as you gain your first experiences. 5★ snowboards offer regular riders more performance and versatility. The 6★ category includes high-quality premium models designed for riders with high expectations regarding precision, stability, and riding comfort.
When selecting a snowboard, we take into account your skill level, height, weight, and intended use. A 4★ snowboard is often the right choice for beginners, while a 5★ snowboard offers better performance for regular riders. The 6★ category includes premium models for the most demanding riders. You may switch between a snowboard and skis once during the same rental period, subject to availability. Any additional switches will be treated as a new rental and billed accordingly. To make a switch, please contact our team at the location where you made your reservation.

It’s best to wear a single, well-fitting winter sports sock rather than two socks on top of each other. Socks that are too thick or worn in pairs can affect the fit and cause pressure points. If the shoe is too tight or too loose, please contact our team.
No. Snowboard boots are a separate rental category and are not included in the price of the snowboard. You can rent boots for adults or children separately.
Yes. Splitboard gear is available as its own rental category. It’s suitable for tours and adventures off-piste. For this, you’ll need alpine experience, careful preparation, and a tailored tour plan. It’s best to stop by the evening before during business hours to get your gear fitted, as adjusting the board, bindings, and boots takes more time.
Splitboard gear includes the splitboard, bindings, skins, and poles. The backpack (without ABS) is not included and can be rented separately.
Yes. The avalanche backpack kit includes a backpack without ABS, an avalanche transceiver, a shovel, a probe, and an emergency kit. The kit is no substitute for alpine experience, safety training, or careful trip planning, and it does not prevent avalanches from occurring.

Pickup and return take place at the booked location during its regular business hours.
Yes. Bananas by Gisler Sport is located right next to the Tschuggen Ost valley station, offering the shortest walk to the lift and the largest selection of snowboards. Gisler Sport Arosa on Poststrasse offers attractive rental rates and often shorter wait times. This location is particularly well-suited for guests who prefer budget-friendly rentals and don’t mind walking a bit farther to the lift. Gisler Sport Tschuggen is located in the Tschuggen Grand Hotel and is especially convenient for hotel guests.
Gisler Sport does not sell ski passes. You can purchase your ski pass directly from Arosa Bergbahnen. At Gisler Sport, you can rent the right snowboard gear for your stay.
Gisler Sport does not offer its own ski storage facility. Guests of the Tschuggen Grand Hotel can use the hotel’s storage facilities. Storage lockers provided by the mountain railways are also available at the Tschuggen Ost valley station. For information on availability and terms and conditions, please contact the respective provider directly.
