How to use Lucendro

Hot for thorough preparation. Cold when you need a quick solution.

Hot application

Six steps to a clean ski base

Good preparation is not about applying as much wax as possible. What matters is a clean base, a thin and even layer, and careful scraping and brushing.

01

Prepare the base

Clean the base and let it dry completely. Remove coarse dirt and old wax residue, then give it a quick brush.

02

Drip on Lucendro

Melt the solid Lucendro against the waxing iron and drip it sparingly onto the base. A thin distribution is enough.

03

Iron in the wax

max. 90°C

Move the iron evenly from tip to tail. This is Lucendro’s maximum processing temperature, not a target temperature. Never leave the iron standing in one place.

04

Allow it to cool completely

Let the ski and the wax cool completely before scraping.

05

Scrape cleanly

Work evenly with a sharp Plexi scraper and remove all excess wax from the base. Clean the centre groove and edges as well.

06

Brush thoroughly

Always work from tip to tail: first expose the base structure with a bronze or steel brush, then create the finish with a nylon brush. The structure should be clearly visible again.

The finished result

Clean — not thickly coated

After finishing, the excess wax has been removed and the base is cleanly worked.
